Query re John Clarke, John captained the Franciscan College, Multyfarnham side to a Leinster Colleges title in 1952. What part of Cavan or club did he belong to ? Don't know if this might be the same man but a Sean Clarke played wing half back for Cornafean in the 1956 senior county final. He was I think from the townland of Monery near Crossdoney but as this was a bit before my time I know very little of him. If you have the time and if you haven't done so already,take a look at the GAA Collection on the website of the Irish Film Institute where there is footage (freely available for now anyway) of the 47,48 and 52 All irelands.
