I have a strange request. I played for Cavan minors in the epic 2 game battle between Cavan and Down minors in the 2005 Ulster Minor Semi Final in Crossmaglen (which unfortunately Down won by a point after extra time in the replay!!). Try contacting TG4, they used to cover a lot of those games on their highlights show.

When I am allowed out I will pop over to the late Pat Lee's home and ask them if they have it for Pat covered a lot of games then. Tommy Reilly also from Kingscourt might have it for he too may well have covered that game. I am not allowed to give you his number because of the freedom of information act but Give Kingcourt club a call they will get him to call you. I hope this helps. Sean O'Rinn

And Down went on to win the All-Ireland final, thrashing Mayo 1-15 to 0-08 in the final. They did lose the Ulster Final to Armagh but bounced back. Another in a long line of what could have been :-)
