Cannot believe you think that all management teams should be going to all matches before being approved. From what I hear there are 4/5 management teams in for the job. Why would they all give up there time if not appointed? At the end of the day the previous county manager stepped down almost 2 months ago and there is no reason why a new management team could not be appointed by at least QF stage of the competition so they could get to different matches. For instance as far as I am aware Lurgan have 1 senior player, Lacken have no senior players and Drumlane have 1 senior player (know there is a 2nd injured) with the 2023 panel. These are 3 of the top 4 senior teams in Cavan in 2023 so what chance does a new manager have of coaxing new players from these teams if they do not know who / what they are like. So someone shouldn't take an interest in ladies football till s/he gets the job as County manager. How would the interview go...have you any ideas of how you'll play or players that you will call in to training...nope, I'll worry about that if I get the job. wishfulthinkin (Cavan) - Posts: 1720 - 23/09/2023 22:25:52 2505371 Link 0 |
So what do we think of the new manager. Bit of a strange appointment. To my knowledge hes never been involved with a ladies team before. Wish him all the best Breffni81 (Cavan) - Posts: 181 - 10/10/2023 16:51:53 2507760 Link 0 |
