Senior Championship
Ballinagh will play senior football in 2018 after a pulsating game in Gowna against Mullahoran on Saturday finished up 2-14 to 1-14 after extra time in our favour. Great credit must go to the players who fought tooth and nail to the bitter end, overturning a 6 point deficit with just 7 minutes remaining in normal time to bring the game to extra time and ultimately win. The committee would like to thank the management of Ollie Fay and Anthony Duffy for their hard work throughout the year in sometimes difficult circumstances as well as Robbie Harrison the kit man and our ever present physio Edel McBride who both do Trojan work to make sure everyone is prepared properly for battle.
Camogie
The Camogie board would like to thank the football committee for all their support throughout the year and having the field in great condition for their Ulster championship game last weekend. In what was a hugely successful year for the Camogie senior team, they would like to thank all their management, players, sponsors, supporters and followers for everything during the year.
