September 25, 2013Congratulations to our U14 girls team who defeated Cavan Gaels by 0-6 to 1-0 in the Division 4 U14 Championship final on the 3G Pitch on Saturday afternoon last.
Senior Ladies
Our senior ladies will face Tyrone Champions Cappagh in Killyclogher, Tyrone on Sunday October 6th at 2pm in the Ulster Intermediate club championship.
125/Gathering Committee Meeting
Meeting of the 125/Gathering Committee meeting takes place tonight Wednesday at 8pm in the clubrooms.
Cavan Ladies
We wish the Cavan Ladies, management team and in particular our county goalkeeper Caron Fay the very best of luck in the All Ireland Intermediate Championship final against Tipperary this Sunday September 29th at 2pm in Croke Park. Tickets for the game can be purchased between 8 and 9pm today Wednesday 25th September in the office at Kingspan Breffni Park. Adults - €25; students/OAPs - €10; U14s - €8; groups of U16s (minimum 10); €5 each (to include one adult at €5 each for every group of 10).
Jason O'Reilly Presentation
There will be a presentation made to legendary club player Jason O'Reilly in recognition of his sterling service to both club and county in P. Donohoe's Pub this Saturday September 28th at 9.30 p.m. All members welcome to attend.
All Ireland Hurling Final Tickets Draw
The draw for the All Ireland Hurling Final Replay tickets will take place tonight Wednesday Sept 25th at 9pm. If you wish to be included in the draw contact a committee member before 8.30 p.m today Wednesday.
Senior Men
Our seniors will face Drumalee in the Senior Championship relegation semi final after they lost by 0-14 to 1-10 to our neighbours Redhills on Saturday last. The match has been fixed for Saturday October 5th at 3pm with a venue yet to be decided. Senior training this Friday night at 8pm.
U14 Boys
Our U14's were in action twice during the last week losing an away fixture by 4-11 to 2-10 to Mullahoran on Wednesday evening last before drawing 1-15 apiece with Dernacrieve Gaels in the U14 Division 2 Championship on Saturday last. They now face a play-off with Dernacrieve Gaels to determine who books a semi final spot.
Joe McQuillan
Well done to Kill native Joe McQuillan on his fine officiating of the All Ireland Final between Dublin and Mayo on Sunday last taking charge of his second All Ireland Final in three years.
