Football Zone: two very heavy defeats have left us in the dreaded relegation boat in the intermediate championship. We will face Butlersbridge in this match. Details anon. Our male minor footballers were eliminated by a strong Eire Og X5 in the back door. Our under 6 and 8 footballers train weekly at 6pm on Fridays. Don't forget your gum shield and water. Ballymachugh's 10 boy's footballers train each Saturday morning at 10am and also during the week under the tutelage of Michael Tynan. Our under 12 boys' footballers are preparing for the under 12 league final replay against Mullahoran which might not take place for several weeks due to holidays and other commitments. This promising 12s squad are under the guidance of Paddy Larkin and former senior star player Antone Briody. Listen up well lads and learn! Sheana and Aoibhín Kiernan are on the Cavan ladies panel and will meet Down in Breifne this Saturday in the AISF semi-final. Home advantage might prove decisive.
