Conor Dourneen will take the whistle for this Saturday’s Cavan senior football championship final between Crosserlough and Kingscourt Stars (throw-in 7.15pm).
It sees the Ballinagh clubman taking charge of his second county senior final in three years, having refereed the 2018 decider between Castlerahan and Crosserlough.
Three years previous to that he was the man in the middle for the IFC final between Ballyhaise and Arva and would go on to graduate from the Ulster GAA Referee Academy.
Now 27 years old, Dourneen is the youngest inter-county referee on the national football panel.
Best of luck to Conor and both teams in Saturday’s evening's final at Kingspan Breffni.
