Results
The U14s fell to defeat against Mountnugent on Thursday last on a score of 3-16 to 2-6. They will now look to pick themselves up against Killygarry this coming Thursday.

Membership/Lotto:
Ballinagh GAA have set up a direct debit for anyone wanting to do the lotto on a yearly basis. This works out at €5 a week, with the yearly membership and three lotto tickets every week included in this. This is a savings of €70 a year for anyone doing the lotto on a yearly basis. Cash or cheque will be also be accepted for this lotto incentive. Please contact any committee member for further details if you are interested in joining this fantastic offer.
Lotto Results
The numbers drawn for the week ending 23/5/16 were 7-23-26-30, there was no jackpot winner. The winners of €25 were; P.Duffy, Bingo Committee Ballinagh, Benny King Carrickacleevan, Sean Lynch Cavan Rd. The losing ticket drawn this week to be entered into the draw for a weekend away at the end of the month was James Dourneen Dublin Rd. Next week's Jackpot is €1'100. Tickets can be bought in any local establishment.
Cavan
Well done to the Cavan team who had a great win in the Ulster Quarter Final against Armagh on Sunday on a score line of 2-16 to 0-14. Cavan will now go on to face Tyrone in the semi-final. Commiserations to the minors however who lost out in their quarter final to the same opponents. Gavin Smith played and gave a good account of himself got on the score sheet in the process
Best Wishes
Everyone at Ballinagh GAA want to extend their best wishes to Allen Durkin and Edel McKenna who tie the knot this Saturday. Allen has been a mainstay in the club since he started kicking ball at the age of 7 and is a very important and popular member of the senior side. We wish them both a lifetime of happiness and hope they have a fantastic day of celebrations
Joanne Moore
Congratulations to Joanne Moore who made the Lidl Ladies NFL Division 2 team of the year. Joanne has had a fantastic year for the Cavan seniors so far this year and makes the national team at corner back.
Shane Mulholland Tournament
Cavan GAA host an U21 Intercounty hurling tournament in memory of Shane Mulholland who tragically died last year. Shane was Cavan GAA hurling development administrator at his untimely passing. Originally from Loughgiel, Co. Antrim, Shane lived in Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh and was a prominent member of the Fermanagh Senior hurling team. It was as an underage coach that Shane will be remembered and truly missed. His passion, enthusiasm and energy left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate to have met him or were coached by him. Longford, Monaghan, Fermanagh and Cavan take part in the tournament giving the U21 players and managements meaningful games ahead of their upcoming All Ireland competitions in July. All money raised from the tournament will go to 'The Shane Mulholland Foundation' which was founded by Shane's family in his memory to help continue his great work of underage Gaelic games development. The competition begins this Saturday 28th 7.30pm with Cavan taking on Longford Kingspan Breffni 3G in and Fermanagh playing Monaghan in Fermanagh. Round 2 and 3 games are fixed for Saturday 4th June and Fri 10th June with the final to be played on Friday 17th June in Cavan.
Golf Classic
Ballinagh will host their 2016 Golf Classic on Friday the 17th of June. Teams cost €150 with prizes galore available. Stay tuned to our Facebook, twitter and club notes in the coming weeks for more details.
Summer Cul Camp
Summer GAA camp will take place again in Ballinagh this summer. This is an excellent way kids can spend a week of their summer holidays learning the skills of the game from some of the top male and female coaches and footballers in Cavan and making new friends in a fun and safe supervised environment. Ballinagh's camp is scheduled forJuly 25th to July 29th and prices are €55 for the first child, €45 for the second and €40 for anyone subsequent child. You can get registration forms in Kingspan Breffni Park or register online on the Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp website www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps.
Ballinagh Cycle
Ballinagh Cycle will hold a fundraising day in Ballinagh on Saturday the 4th of June with a Static Bike Challenge. Please come down and join the fun and give even just five minutes of your time on the static bike all for worthy causes. The Croagh Patrick to Ballinagh challenge takes place on Saturday 25th of June and cyclists are looking for donations on their sponsorship cards.
Danger Money in the Breffni Arms
'Danger Money' a play written by John McManus and starring Seamus O'Rourke will take place in the Breffni Arms Hotel Arva on Saturday the 18th of June in aid of St. Christopher's Hospice Cavan for a night not to be missed.
