Kilkenny native Tom Mullally had been appointed as the new Carlow senior hurling manager.
A brother of former Kilkenny players Richie and Paddy, Mullally steered Mount Leinster Rangers to an historic Leinster club SHC success in 2013 en route to the All-Ireland final. The Glenmore clubman also helped Clara to their first Kilkenny SHC crown in 27 years that same season.
Mullally was more recently involved with the Wexford U21 and Wicklow senior teams. He replaces Colm Bonnar, who stood down from the role last November after four years.
We are delighted to announce this evening that Kilkenny native Tom Mullally has been ratified as Manager of our Senior Hurling Team.
