A year on from refereeing the Carlow SFC final, Paud O'Dwyer will be in the thick of the action again on Sunday but this time as joint-manager of Palatine.
The former top inter-county referee co-manages his adopted club Palatine against Rathvilly in the big football decider at Netwatch Cullen Park. The Wexford native took charge of August's drawn Carlow SHC final between St Mullins and Mount Leinster Rangers and was also the man in the middle for last year's Allianz Hurling League final between Limerick and Kilkenny.
However, his inter-county days are now behind him due to the requirement for referees to retire at 50.
