Na Fianna club notes
MINOR FOOTBALL SHIELD SEMI FINAL AND FINAL FIXTURE
After the bitter disappointment of missing out on the knockout stage of the A Football Championship Na Fianna Minor Footballers regrouped last week to take on neighbours St Vincents in the Minor Football Shield Semi Finals last Tuesday evening in Clara after a very late change of venue from Walsh Island. Na Fianna put together their best teamwork and display of the year to absolutely blitz their neighbouring opponents as Na Fianna led by 1-09 to 0-03 at half time and went on to win by 6-16 to 1-03 at full time a winning margin of all of 28 points. This performance shows what Na Fianna could have contributed to the knockout stage of the Championship had they qualified. Na Fianna now play Rhode in the Minor Shield Final which has been fixed for Wednesday 31st October @ 7:30pm in Gracefield. Best of Luck to players and management. All Support would be appreciated.
