Cullen handed attacking role

Finbar Cullen
Offaly manager Padraig Nolan has sprung a surprise by naming Finbar Cullen at centre forward for Sunday's Leinster SFC clash with Laois at Tullamore.
It is an unfamiliar role for the Edenderry clubman who has been a mainstay of the Offaly half back line for nearly a decade. Cullen's clubmate John Hurst is Offaly's only championship debutant, getting his big chance at right half back.
John Kenny, who has been troubled by injury in recent seasons, takes over the full back role from Barry Malone who has taken a break for the year. Also missing from the Offaly line-up are Vinny Claffey (suspended) and James Grennan (injured).
Offaly (SFC v Laois): P Kelly; C Daly, J Kenny, B Mooney; J Hurst, G Rafferty, K Slattery; S Grennan, C McManus; C Quinn, F Cullen, A McNamee; N Coughlan, R Malone, P Kellaghan.
