Knew Liverpool would win.Liverpool almost always beat Everton.Should be a good final.The pool will be hoping for Chelsea Id say,another team who dont ever seem to have it against the reds.

Class today , Even big andy carroll is starting to show his worth. Delighted for them but it still doesnt take away from what has been a pretty poor season in the league. But with one trophy in the bag and hopefully a second on the way , It does give the season a little bit of gloss.

I'll put it on record that although andy carroll takes all the flak he is worth 10 stewart downings. downing has been the biggest waste of money and by far liverpool's worst player all season.
I wouldn't even ruin the reserve team with him.
Carragher is finished unfortunately.


Great win today..suarez is just unplayable...how can anyone defend against him. he is keeping the team going. Why maxi can't get a game under kenny while downing continues to play is beyond me.

Luckily everton didn't really attack in the 2nd half so they didn't have much to do but it will be different against Spurs/Chelsea

Suarez is a different class (football wise). He has immense talent and is currently liverpool's most important player. He sets up a ton of chances but his finishing is probably the worst part of his game. Some finish for his goal today though.

But why can't a good finisher play with suarez? If liverpool but a good finisher, do you think liverpool can only imploy one or the other and not have both on the pitch at the same time?

I just think that the red tops criticisms are far too extreme. If the same thing happens next season then fair enough, but it is too early and reactionary to whip up a frenzy over liverpool's current plight. Especially when all that is being reported is sensational and factually incorrect.

Calm is needed as success (hopefully) is not instantaneous.

I think that dagliesh himself only got 2 things wrong this season: the suarez incident, and persisting with downing.
And unfortunately kenny is not on the pitch to stick the ball in the goal like it should be done.

I have lost all respect for Chelsea FC after the actions of some of their fans during the minute's silence yesterday. It was the sickest thing I have ever seen at a football match and theses "fans" don't deserve to be called football followers.
