1143853 This article expresses my view with the current situation perfectly Now it's not often I agree with Holt but he has got it spot on Have a read it's very good and maybe some of the Utd fans who like to come on our thread alot recently will have a read and realise that not all pool fans will panic
http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/opinion/columnists/oliver-holt/Oliver-Holt-column-Why-Liverpool-owe-Kenny-Dalglish-more-time-to-turn-things-around-article886324.html What about the Liverpool fans like yourself who come on the Utd thread, will they panic?

@TheRoad most Utd fans I know and some on here reckon the only way Liverpool can get out of this current situation is to ditch Kenny ,I disagree

I can count on my hand the specific games where liverpool were well beaten this season.
absolutely atrocious refereeing decisions in the last 2 games have turned them into this ' joke*'.
Only a good striker away from being a top 4 team Worst shots to goals ratio in all of europes big leagues...that's the main problem.
*i would never call them a joke myself...I'm not embarrassed by supporting liverpool.

only a good striker away from been a top four team, dont make me laugh, dont have a top class midfield or a solid defence, if liverpool finished in top 4 with just an additinal striker, they would truly be worst top 4 team ever

Kerryluck,.
You are joking?
Agger, skertyl-top class. johson,.enrique-very good. Main kelly is getting better every year,.coates will be good.
Liverpool created as many scoring opportunities as united this year...only difference is united finished twice as many. A top class striker would've had 20+ goals for liverpool this year with that amount of chances created.
Lucas's injury is why liverpool have suffered.
Suarez for some reason will have to be shot in the box before he will get a penalty?
What's your take on it?

Kerryluck,
I have been watching them since the new year. with great intrigue.
Before I start off on one are you saying that the liverpool midfield (the same midfield that has dominated teams such as man utd, arsenal, chelsea, man city, tottenham, newcastle, everton this season) are not up to scratch?
The only criticism I would have of them is that their crossing is usually atrocious and they don't score enough goals.
Like I said earlier, liverpool's problems stem from shooting accuracy, and simply just pouting the ball in the net. Make no mistake, only a good finisher is needed.

Saw john henry on the tv the last day saying he wants Liverpool to be up there with the likes of Milawwn,Rayall,Boarcilona and mainchester. To be fair Tylerdurden, its more than a finisher you need to get there.

where was your midfield at weekend when needed, when carroll came on, they couldn't give a good cross to save their life

TheRoad,
It's as plain as day that a good finisher is all that's needed. Maybe a decent winger, who can actually assist. Even when they are playing bad they create a lot of chances.
But to be up there with Barca and Real you would need a couple of billion quid just to buy all the good players off them. I'm sure they'll get there with MONEYBALL-something that has a movie made out of it must be great.

Everton have steamed 4 points clear of liverpool I see. Well done to them - The Peoples Club. Have a fraction of liverpools budget and still a better side.

Kerryluck,
Do you actually read anything? I stated that the midfield crossing was poor. You even attached what I wrote to your message! That can be fixed in the training ground though.
What did you make of 2 penalties for Suarez not given? One was a stone wall penalty. That's why there was no win?

Any pool fans dreading this FA cup semi? Even if we win the cup out it will cap a disaster of a season. I am so low as a liverpool fans now I just cant get excitied by this game.
Fans who are from liverpool will always be different as its a derby thing that divides families. Anybody else feel the same?
