Intermediate Hurling Championship
Brosna Gaels captain Trevor Phelan lifted the Fr. Carey Cup in O'Connor Park last Sunday as Brosna Gaels became Intermediate champions for the second time. In terrible conditions both sides struggled with the heavy rain and strong winds. St. Rynaghs opened the scoring and put 3 points on the board before the Gaels responded with their first point from Jason Devery.At half time the Gaels were 3 points down, Brosna Gaels 0-3 , St. Rynaghs 0-5. Brosna Gaels stepped up a notch in the second half and the sides were level with 15 minutes to go. A point from des Egan and great play from Lee Colgan set the winning tone, and points from Thomas Spain, Fergal Daly and a final point from man of the Match Chris McDonald left the final score, Brosna Gaels 0-13, St. Rynaghs 0-8. The starting 15 were: Conor Robbins, Jeffrey Cuskelly, Danny Kelleher, Trevor Phelan, Karl Daly, Chris Mc Donald (0-5), Lee Colgan, Sean Hackett (0-1), Des Egan (0-1), Jason Devery (0-1), Fergal Daly (0-4), Thomas Spain (0-1), John Egan, Kevin Lynam, Alan Lynam. Substitutions: Eamon McCabe for John Egan, Alec Moony for Jason Devery, Glenn Halligan for Alan Lynam

The Player of the Year, was awarded to Karl Daly, for his dedication and commitment throughout this year. Man of the Match, as selected by local press was awarded to Chris McDonald. AIB Leinster Club Junior Hurling Championship
Brosna Gaels will play St. Patrick's of Wicklow in the AIB Leinster Championship at Pairc Dunbar in Wicklow Town at 2:30pm on Sunday 30th October. A supporters bus will be travelling, anyone interested can contact Elvis Wynne on 087 6746535 by Wednesday. Brosna Gaels will be sporting new Jerseys for our Leinster campaign, we would like to sincerely thank Egan Bros. Construction for sponsoring our new jerseys.

St. Malachy's / Ballinamere Gaels U21 Presentation Night
The u21 presentation night dinner will take place on Saturday 5th November in the Millennium Room in the Bridge House at 8pm. Medals will be presented by Kilkenny Hurler Eddie Brennan. Tickets are available from Liam Hackett, 086 2604770
