Leitrim manager Terry Hyland has stressed that they have made no change to their preparation for the visit of Cork to Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.
The Connacht side got their FL3 campaign off to a decent start with a draw away to Derry last Saturday evening and they face another tough test this weekend when the Rebels arrive in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Hyland is not getting carried away with the performance against Derry and he told the Leitrim Observer that even though Cork will pose a different type of challenge, they will approach the match the same way.
“Cork will pose a totally different challenge from Derry. They are an open running team, big units running at you at pace. They would be also less defensive minded so that could create opportunities for our forwards but our defence will probably have to step up another bit,” said Hyland.
“We have the toughest opening two rounds in the league. People will say at the end of the day it’s no different, you meet the strong teams at some stage you just have to be prepared for them.”
