Shane Walsh has been left out of Galway's starting 15 for the Allianz FL Division 1 clash with neighbours Mayo at MacHale Park on Saturday evening (throw-in 7.15pm).

The Kilkerrin-Clonberne clubman sustained a head injury in the narrow 0-14 to 1-10 defeat at the hands of Kerry.

Sean Kelly is also absent from the line-up having suffered a hamstring injury in the same game last weekend.

Eamonn Brannigan will make his first appearance since last August's All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Dublin.
