Kevin Walsh has named his start 15 for Galway’s Division 1 opener against Cavan in Salthill.

Despite injury concerns, Johnny Heaney is named to start for the Tribesmen in a half-forward line which includes Fintan Cooney and Johnny Duane while Danny Cummins comes into the side at right corner-forward.

Thomas Flynn and Kieran Duggan are named at centre-field while Sean Andy O’Ceallaigh and Gareth Bradshaw take up the central positions in defence at full-back and centre-back respectively.

Throw-in at Pearse Stadium is at 2.30pm.
