Well obviously Doyle , Murphy and Shore are losses , but if Wexford are a team that is aiming for a Leinster title , they should probably be putting Longford away , just out of interest where has Adrian Morrisey gone ? Always produced the goods for Kilmacud Crokes and I feel would add a bit more creativity to the Wexford team , whether it be from half back or half forward

Paddy Byrne seems to be one of Jason Ryan's favourite players. I hope he has a great game at the weekend, but unfortunately from anything I've seen of him I don't think he will. Would have thought PJ or Colm Morris would have started.

the key word is team, this team dug in today as a unit and delivered the win , can improve but today was about heart and determination to the bitter end .

an amazing win, looked unlikely all day but red, ben and shane roche came up trumps when it mattered most. full back line destroyed all day long and longford should have been out of sight. lot to work on!!

Glad to see the lads push on today and stand up when it mattered, some terrible wides esp in the first half, a lot of improvement needed to compete with dubs, but they did us proud again.

Well done to the team yesterday. Showed a lot of grit and an amount of class at the end. Red Barry and Shane Roche were super but in truth it was a 20 man performance. Ciaran Whelan gives us no chance and says Wexford "got Dublin on a bad day" last year. Amazingly twelve months ago "they" were saying we got them on a bad day in 2011 also! I remember during the Jack Charlton years most teams said they had not played well against Ireland either. I reckon anyway Barden and Kavanagh are better than any of the Dublin forwards and Longford may still ruffle a few feathers in the qualifiers. We have had two hard championship games whereas Dublin are effectively coming in cold. I really dont see any reason why we cannot beat them.

now that was guts and heart! unreal stuff longford were 10pts a better team but were not good enought to taketheir chances , they were dead on their feet in last 5, quinn went up field right at end, lost ball, vcould not get back, left middle wide open , the jeering was hard to take a meath man beside me started shouting for them then turned totally against them over the jeering

BY GOD THIS TEAM DOSNT HALF MAKE YOUR HEART PUMP... I keep saying it and will Keeping sayin it they are a privilege and honour to follow... To the Wexford fans that were there which as usual was not many but they were amazing to an really got behind the team... I have to admit during the second Half of questioning Ryan's decisions on the line but what the hell do I know... We were missing four Players who are or would push the starting 15 in lyng Murphy Doyle and shore hopefully three of the four will be back... A lot of plus's to take from the game we won when really we shouldn't have we showed heart and determination in sheer bucketloads and benji had kicking practice in to a wannabe hill 16... I taught red and Roche really stood up to the plate yesterday and chinn all u can say is that kid is some athlete three games in a week... As for Dublin what have we got to lose we should have beaten them the last two times as a poster said we have had two tough games while they had a facile win and were never troubled and as mcstay said dublin are at a hiding to nothing in this game if they win and by no matter what score ppl will say it should have been more we have nothing to lose or fear so let's really have a go at them and give them a game... Here is to the 1st of July and whatever happens LOCH GARMEN ABU

Well done to Wexford ye deserved to win it and best of luck against the Dubs!
Yes, Longford dominated the game (and at times destroyed the Wexford defence) for 60 minutes but we did not take out opportunites that included SIX goal chances that I counted. Wexford took their opportunities and were more clinical than us. We faded badly in the last 8 minutes.
It is bitterly dissapointing for me as a Longford man, we can't seem to see these big games out.
I hope ye Wexofrd men admired the talents of Paul Barden, Brian Kavanagh, Sean McCormack and Mickey Quinn over the four games we played ye, I am convinced these players would make any team in the country !
Again tho best of luck and thanks for the memorable games !

Many thanks Longford1. I reckon ye dont have to fear anyone in the qualifiers. There are not many really good teams out there apart from the top three. Perhaps we meet again before the year is out.

Lads, we aint playing near as well as last year, and the Dubs seem to be at a much better level already. I thought we could take them last year, we were playing better and had better tactics and finding the scores easier. We are not at that level yet, and to be honest, I think Dublin will win handy. Great win yesterday, poor performance though. Red did well and was clinical. Roche was a bit better but still not fulfilling promise. Not often to see Molloy have 2 bad games on the trot, so hopefully he will handle Brogan like he did last year.

We were playing better last year because we were playing weaker teams that let us play our way last year... This was our second championship match without arguable our best forward and our centre back and we still won how many times have we played well and lost... For me we can only get better and it was great to see some lads step up to the plate that I was starting to think were not good enough... Like I said all the pressure is on Dublin we have nothing to lose in this game... Will we win probably not can we win it I honestly think we can
