Best of luck to the lads on Sunday, especially the new starters. Hopefully the start of four long and successful careers. It will be interesting to see us revert to the pre Davy style. Hope Davy doesn't get any negative slagging from some of the headers you get at matches. He did his best for us and deserves some respect. Let the battle take place on the field!

Agree with the last post, i grew to like davy and while i hope we beat Clare on sunday (which i think we will) but if we dont i could see myself supporting them in the Munster Final. I think we probally have our best team out, maybe one could argue that Nagle should have been ahead of Foley but the selectors know best having seen them over the past few weeks. I like the look of our forward division and all thats required for us to motor on is for them to get a good supply of the ball, so Keeper, backs and midfielders let the ball in fast and often and the umpires will have a busy afternoon. Best of luck to the entire squad UP THE DEISE

Clare vs Waterford Just a few comments Firstly well done to Waterford - you appeared to be very well prepared. Obviously disappointed with the loss again for Clare in the Munster championship- I think the Davy Fitz factor meant Waterford were even more up for this match than normal - they did NOT want to be beaten by a team managed by Davy so this factor was a bit counter productive for us.
Honan should have been brought on earlier - would have drawn more frees and could have scored a goal. Need to manage puck out strategy better - a lot of Clare puck outs were won by Waterford. Need to vary the strategy
Disappointed with attitude of Kelly after penalty (should have been yellow carded) and Mullane at end - he let himself down Focus on Day Fitz on Sunday Game was ridiculous

SMb All down to the heat of battle, As far as most of us down here Davy is a real warrior and his hearth is in the right place He just loves the game and winning is always is ambition, which is no bad trait. As a manager he is learning all the time and given proper material he will deliver in time. The media are always looking for a story so they cling on to Davy cause they will know they will get something from him to sell their Paper. I think it was out of order to put a mike under his mouth all after noon. I would much prefer that Mullane and Kelly did not get involved at all, but its in the heat of battle after one great game and id bet my last bob that all those 3 are the best of friends and they have great regard for each other.

the media knows davy will react and equally he knows that he will be watched and targeted and he feeds off that ! im all for passion on sideline but he has responsibility to his team and supporter to keep his mind on his job as manager ! any young person watching on telly will think thats its reasonable to act like that on sideline if davy fitz is doing it.
