Team news: Deise welcome back captain

June 08, 2018

Waterford's Kevin Moran scores a goal past goalkeeper Mark Fanning of Wexford

Waterford will welcome back captain Kevin Moran when they meet Limerick in the Munster SHC at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

Moran was forced to watch last weekend's controversial draw with Tipperary from the sidelines after being suspended. However, he regains his place in Derek McGrath's attack as Mikey Kearney drops to the bench.

The return of the De La Salle clubman represents a huge boost for the Deise as they aim to keep their provincial hopes alive with a first victory of the campaign.

Waterford (Munster SHC v Limerick): Stephen O'Keeffe; Shane Fives, Conor Gleeson, Noel Connors; Michael Walsh, Austin Gleeson, Philip Mahony; Jamie Barron, Pauric Mahony; Kevin Moran, Stephen Roche, DJ Foran; Stephen Bennett, Tom Devine, Patrick Curran.
