After that this evening lad's and lassie the man has to go away atleast for A break. A 10 point hammering that was worse than 86 and I was there. If that was big Art the whole of Tyrone would be looking him hung from the lamp posts. MICKY GPO AND SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY THEY NEED YOU AND YOU NEED THEM PLEASE.

it always seems to be the managers fault in these situations?.. what would any other manager have done?. what happened today was down to the players lack of effort, theyd rather row than play football!

today had nothing to do with mickey harte and certainly not down to a lack of effort from players. we just arent dining at the top table anymore and havent been since 2008. Peter Harte has never turned up in any big game yet eg twice against donegal, last year in dublin and today again. at this moment in time we dont have an all ireland team in the county unless we unearth gems. what we do have is solid hardworking county players but we dont have the icing like peter canavan, a young stevie o neill, a brian dooher. maybe they are there but i havent seen them, not in division one anyway. dont despair though as despite today there still arent that many ahead of us. still only a handful id say

I think people need to take a reality check. We were playing Kerry in their back yard and were missing Cavanagh, ONeill, Coney, McNabb, McMahon and Quinn, all of whom would have been probable starters if fit. If you add in that Jordan, McGinley, Hughes, Dooher, Mellon, Gourley etc have all retired (and nearly all are capable of still playing county football), there is a serious drain on available talent.

Since 2009 we have been beaten by Cork, Dublin, Donegal and Kerry. That shows were we are at and it will be a slow process over the next few years to get young players through. There is a long way to go before we are competing at the last four stage again. Mickey Harte will be able for this job as well as anybody I can think off. Its not just Tyrone either in Ulster alone Armagh, Derry, Monaghan and Down all face rebuilding.

As a neutral point of view i honestly have to highest respect for mickey harte and i do feel its time for him to walk away now. I feel his time has come. He has done so much for tyrone gaa over the last few years and think time is right now to depart...

The talent is in Tyrone of that there is no doubt but we need A major clear out and that must start with Micky any man that continues with Colm Cavanagh in mid field for 70 minuets ---. Ricey Stevie O'Neill Brian McGuigan and Mulligan all need to hang them up until we start using our youth we will not win sam end of story.

Micky was one of the best and most genuine managers the gaa has seen. Its now a bit like Mick O'Dwyer and Sean Boylan. Time to move aside and let someone else have a go for your own good.

well if you are letting him go i can only think there would be 31 counties looking to get him. You played Kerry in their backyard, a team that had 3 points to prove , you missing some of your best players and yet you want the man who brought you to your greatest glories to go?

I think its a joke that some Tyrone people are calling for Mickey to go after what he has done for us. I still believe he is by far the best man for the job and he is also a great ambassador for the gaa. He stayed on the pitch yesterday for 30 minutes signing shirts for kerry fans. I also think that mickey is best placed to decide what is best for him and is family instead of people on here who probably werent even in killarney yesterday. If you think he should go put forward the name of the man who you think is better.

wellsaid sean but i'mafraid the crazy gang have reared their heads again...mickey harte signed a 3 year contract this year, and he doesn't walk away...so this is a false debate...mickey is going nowhere...tyrone are on the cusp of exciting times ahead...a young team with many players in only their first year of championship football...we are heading into a new era, and we are number 7 in the country...one place up on last year...not bad for a team thats rebuilding

i don't think so but I do think it is time for a change of trainer how many players have we lost the last number of years due to injuries picked up in training or in a match due to been over train or doing the wrong training think back to when paddy tally was training us how many injuries had we then

This is a disgrace reading down through the comments that mickey harte should go... wat mickey harte has done for tyrone football not just the senior team is unbelievable and even through hard times he has had to face he still has stayed strong and has been there day in day out for the tyrone team and the county. the man is an inspiration and he owes no one in this county a thing. the man is without doubt the best manager ryt now and as i seen in another post if he left tyrone there would be 31 county boards in touch with him looking him at their helm.... when mickey harte decides to leave it should be in his own time and of his own chosing, and until he decides that win or lose this county should be behind 100%.

This is why I hate the 03 bandwagon/county board yesmen if anyother manager in Ireland took A tanking like that on Saturday he and his back room team would be sacked are they would quit. To keep Cavanagh and Gormely Ricey McGuigan Mulligan who are all to old for this tipe of game that football has become never mind Stevie O'Neill who is not fit nor I don't think can get fit enough to last A full championship lad's it is not good enough and never will be good enough.
So would the 03 bandwagon/yesmen please go back to sky sports now it will be 5or6 years before we are A real threat again and this time please stay there.

Stop this BS NOW !!!!!! Mickey is building a new team from the ground up so F off and give the man time. This is a team of young lads playing their first year for Tyrone and I think they have done great so far. They might be a long way from the finished thing but this year has take them on light years. They start next year in Div 1 where they will learn a lot more so Good Man Mickey. As for the Kerry Tyrone game so what? kerry won against a bunch of boys and I'm sure Jack o Conner is all happy with getting his pride back. The only problem he has now is where is his new team coming from as I don't see many new faces in there? Tyrone will be back but I'm sure Jack won't just like a lot of his players.

Get a grip people. You have one of the best managers ever to have managed a county team. Any county would love to have him. Disgraceful!

I agree with all of that.We need to rebuild and Mickey is the best man for the job.

Kerry are like Kilkenny in the hurling Cody brings in 2or3 every year and thats why they have't had to rebuild over the past 10 years and Kerry will always do it like that thats why they will win sam this year. If Micky has to build A new team it no one's fault only his own from 01 we have won 4 All Ireland minor so the youth is there there should be no rebuilding.

A question for all the Mickey Harte doubters,Who from within the county would do a better job?
It's safe to say any new manager would be appointed from within the county but i don't see any outstanding candidates.
