I think I agree with you Killarney87. Kilkenny are waiting in the wings big time this year. If anyone was going to catch them it should have been last year re Galway ran them close and they had chances also and obviously the All Ireland where we really should have put three goals past them (forget the penalty incident we had plenty of chances before that to put them away and we didn't).
I still think we are not that bad, Wexford are always tough to beat and they never ever feared Tipp, but I think the Semple Stadium factor will be of benefit to us. Wexford never liked playing in Thurles for some reason. The posts I am reading if any of the players are reading this know they let the county down big time against Cork. Cork are good but Tipp made them look better than they are also. We were awful and the way they played was a disgrace to the Tipp jersey. Young kids looking at county players would only die to wear that jersey (as in any other county) and the curernt batch needs to realise how much that jersy means to every young hurler in the county.
Here is hoping that from tomorrow on, that they realise this and play with pride and passion an respect for the blue and gold.

Killarney.87 I really have no idea. If both teams play to their potential KK will win by 10+. But you never know. The reality is the championship starts after next sunday and the munster final. If ye can take care of KK we might have a repeat of 01 and a chance for revenge ;)

There ye go lads. WX might have had some injuries but they were dismantled by a lethal Tipp display and the find of the year so far with the young Young lad. Is Fanning badly injured? Cork won't be looking forward to a re-match I think tonight!

It was a poor game of hurling 1988, will not have learned anything from it. Young looked good alright. What way are ye for tomorrow, is Lee finished for the year?

Very difficultg to see how Banville didn't get a straight red. He pulled across Fanning and pulled in very dangerous fashion the helmet off his head. Fanning's injury looked very nasty. Now maybe Fanning was to blame as well as he also pulled Banville's helmet off. I didn't see who started it. But the rules are clear striking with the hurley is a red card. I expect it will be upgraded to red but Fanning may be in trouble also. The Wexford centre forward deliberately stood and stamped on Conor O'Mahony's hand and yet it was Conor who got the yellow. This should also have been a red card.

Fanning started it think it kinda lead from what fanning dose before a match he dosen't shake hands with the oppenent.... To be fair i think both of them should have been sent off.
Twas a good team proformance could have won by more but we'er back on track good to see a few more options with young and ryan.... to be honest i didn't rate ryan much before this game but he looks a lad playing with a lot of confidence.

Not convinced by Tipp yet. I still we have problems and after seeing KK today, the way we are playing now we haven't a hope of beating KK if we manage to get to a semi final as I think we have gone backwards this year.
Galway have to do a lot of soul searching themselves as if they have any ambitions of winning an All-Ireland, they won't do it the way they played today. I thinkk they are in a wore position than we are. They played well just to keep up with KK until half time but didn't come out of the dressing room after that.
This could be an easy 5-in-a-row for KK this year i'm afraid.

Lads. I'm impressed by your respect for Galway. Not too many of ye were in Thurles for the league game obviously. Tipp are the only team armed to beat KK. Cork are washed up in my opinion.. WD should beat them Sunday.

I think we should support Louth in the light of that mistake by the ref which he has now admited was wrong and the GAAs heads in the sand saying it must stand which world do they live in.In my oppenion the should not even be replayed it should be awarded to Louth what is this world if u dont get justice, a major mistake admited by the ref and we should get it I think we should all give just a few minutes of our time and go on to the Louth site and give our support we never know we might want others support one day

No hope of a replay JC no matter what supoprt we give Louth. Meath will not hand back a Leinster Title if this was a Leinster Semi Final then maybe but because it was a Final there is no hope.I fully support the Louth cause.
All those counties who are now backing Louth are sorry they voted against a Tipperary Motion in Congress to have a Video Ref appointed.
We called for this motion in the wake of our injustice against Kilkenny.
It would have taken less than 1 minute for a video ref to see that the Meath player threw the ball over the line.
The brains of the GAA going forward are well & truely in the home of the GAA!!!But because we are Tipperary people dont like us & saw us as whingers after the 09 Hurling Final.
I would like to see was Louth a county which voted against this motion.

Good win for Tipp after Extra Time.
2-17 to 0-21.
Very bad second half but that goal in injury time was crucial & we had another goal chance before extra - time.
Bring on d Banner now 28th July in the Home of Hurling!!!
