Tipperary relegated

(Oldest Posts First)

If it is any consolation to you, I dont and im sure many other fans from Armagh dont think you should have been relegated.

Great game today came back at Armagh with 14 men!

Yeah. Tip were 1-11 to 0-1 down at half time with 14 men.

Second half by the 64th minute the scores were even but Armagh pulled away in last couple of minutes. Tipperary football has gained a lot of respect from me even though it is hurling stronghold.

1-9 - 0-1 at half time , well done to tipperary for turning in such a strong second half performance with 14 men , armagh still have a lot of work to do .

dissapointed to get relegated.we dropped valubale points against laois and donegal.i felt we performed well in division 2.pity but sure hopefully we'll give kerry a rattle and if not we could get a good run in the qualifiers

Just one bad performance & that was against Kildare. We have not been disgranced in any shape or form.Hopefully we can finish off with a win against Westmeath.Get ready then for the battle against Kerry who themselves might be relegated.

With the style and character of Tipp football you'll be back to Div 2 in a years time, there were a lot worse teams however ye didn't get the rub of the green. Good luck against Kerry, they are not a million miles ahead of ye.

Pity to see Tipp relegated, seem to be unlucky on a few occasions more than anything. I'm sure we'll meet on our way down and your way up next year.

Cheers lads, Its very disappointing to be heading back to Division 3. We lost by 2 points on day 1 in Portlaoise and that was the match that sent us down as Laois were our closest rivals throughout.

Hopefully we can see the campaign out with a win against Westmeath, then knuckle down for the Kerry match.

P.S. Best of luck to the U-21's on Wed!!!!

It's a shame because outside of the first half yesterday and the Kildare match we were no way out of our depth in this division. I hope they take some confidence from that, Armagh, Meath, Kildare, Donegal maybe even Laois could all be still around come July/August... hope we can be too.

We just need to start converting our scores more. We need to put on higher scores. We have only managed so far...

1-11 v Laois
0-08 v Kildare
1-11 v Down
1-09 v Meath
2-05 v Donegal
2-08 v Armagh

I think great credit must go to our defence who have kept down the score-board in certain matches where we could have been beaten by more.Just a little more fire-power needed if we are to progress further at this level.
