id say four roads are the second most recognisable club in both codes in the county behind clann na gael. they have a massive history including winning the connaught club the same year as galway winning the all ireland in hurling. they beat the county champions of the all ireland winning team at senior level! when was that last done by a roscommon team????

Hard luck yesterday lads against Ballyhaunis. Was a brilliant spectacle - the game had everything. Some savage scores by both sides but i think it has to be said that the best team won in the end, i think fitness played a big part. 3-18 to 2-16 is brilliant scoring for the tail end of October.
