Anyone listen to his interview on newstalk last night. Really does not put boxing in a bad light and in particular leaves massive question marks over Chavez Jr.
To sum up in his fight with Chavez. It was fought in a small ring with a dodgy canvas that made it hard to move.
Chavez wasn't able to give urine sample before fight. But suddenly just before the fight gave one in a cubicle on his own. Lee gave his with 2 guys either side of him.
Chavez jr team did not want to weigh their fighters gloves.
Chavez in his previous fight with Rubio did not give any urine sample.
Chavez has gone from been a so so fighter a couple of years ago to a 180lb wrecking machine on fight night, whilst looking a gaunt 160lb the day before at weigh in. At the minimum Chavez is taking some banned diruetics (think he failed a test for them previously) people are putting lives on the line just to keep their cash cow going and lining their pockets.
In Lee case in particular as hes so brave and has a great chin this could have been tragic if the ref didnt step in on time. Think Resto vs Collins
Lee also commented on the lack of drugs tests he has to do in comparison to the stringent testing he had to do as an amataur which is ludicrous.
THIS IS NOT TO TURN INTO A PACQUIAO/MAYWEATHER DEBATE AS THE CIRCUMSTANCES REGARDING CHAVEZ JR ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. PACQUIAO HAS NEVER NOT TAKEN A DRUG TEST REQUESTED BY THE RELEVENT BOXING COMMISSIONS.

jm25, Pacquiao destroyed Bradley in Las Vegas, yet the decision was given to Bradley. The fight wasnt even questionable, in terms of the result, HBO had Pacman winning 119-110. That is sadly the way boxing is, its corrupt and even when it is blatant everyone just ignores it and accpets it.

Didn't hear the interview, is it archived somewhere? Watched the fight, and saw Chavez Jrs previous 2 fights as well, and the underhand nature of what's going on is pretty blatant. Whats worse is the unquestioning nature of the boxing media, who see these obvious anomalies and just laugh them off, ie:
- Chavez Jr's team refused to have their gloves weighed, oh well.
- The ring has been reduced in size, har-de-har.
- Chavez was gaunt and frail yesterday, but is an unstoppable beast today showing no side effects of weight draining, atta boy.
- Chavez didn't give a sample for drug tests before the fight (which is what they originally said), but everything's groovy.
This was all mentioned by the commentary in the build up, without any criticism. Also, Chavez Jr's fighting weight on the night was never revealed. Unlike alot of other people, I DON"T want Sergio Martinez to face Chavez, because I don't think Sergio will get a fair fight, the same things will happen. The boxers themselves know whats going on, and hopefully will refuse to fight this kid.

Found it, thanks for that. I guess that this is where boxers are caught between a rock and a hard place. If they don't kick up a stink when they suspect foul play by an opponent, no-one else will, and things will just carry on regardless. If they do kick up a stink, they'll be accused of just being a bad loser, and be told to take their lumps.
Hope Andy can come back, maybe get a shot against one of the other champions (I still think he'd beat Sturm or Geale).
