Munster were due to play the first of 2 games in italy in the space of a week on sunday against Aironi but that has been cancelled due to the weather conditions in italy at the moment and as a result the training camp in italy munster had planned ahead of the treviso game which is scheduled for the 18th has been scheduled. Munster will now travel out to italy for the treviso game a couple of days in advance like they usually do for away games

Well we have a nice trip to the Arms Park to look forward too.

Thankfully we haven't been affected too much by the internationals and after the Quins success i fancy our chances of getting a rare away win on Welsh soil.

You'd have to fancy Leinster to get a win at home against Treviso and Ulster to beat the Dragons at home aswell. That coupled in with my prediction of a stunning Ireland victory in Paris will leave a good weekend for Irish rugby.

Munster just announced the signing of a new centre, former All Black and Crusaders and Canterbury player Casey Laulala. Great signing along with Doenry that hopefully means Earls can stay in his rightful positions of wing and fullback with munster and hopefully ireland.
Potential of a great backline next season
9. Murray
10. ROG
11. Earls
12. Downey
13. Laulala
14. Howlett
15. Felix Jones
with O Leary, Keatley and 1 of danny barnes/johne murphy on the bench.

Obviously somebody has to lose out, but would you not consider Mafi for the bench even?

Good result for Leinster last night. They do have some serious talent in that squad and are now 14 points clear at the top. I'd say even at this stage there top 4 place is virtually assured. Goign great guns in the H Cup aswell. It's going to take some team to stop them this season.

Still have some tough games left, def have top 4 place but finishing 1st or 2nd is most important to nab a home semi but finishing 1st is the aim, as whoever finishes 1st gets the choice as to where the final is hosted as long as the capacity is above 18000 or so.

Toulouse will give em a good go in the heineken, munster or ulster would run em close and clermont are the best side in europe yet to win a heineken.

Will Toulouse get a chance though???? I don't think they'll go very far at all. They might account for Edinburgh (might, Bradley is doing a mighty job there) but i don't think they'll get past you lads ( I think ye'll beat Ulster, but that one's not cut and dried either).

I also fancy Saracens to turn over Clermont. On an aside Leinster have already sold out their 1/4 final. They only went on sale on Monday!!!!! Only hope for any more tickets is if Cardiff return them!

Was at Ravenhill last night, and although Ulster made hard work of it, they done enough to win with a bonus point. That is now 6 bonus point wins in their last 8 games. That is serious form. They're moving up the pro12 table and if they keep up this form, and when they get back their internationals after the 6 nations, then Munster would want to look out in the Heineken cup quarter final. Pity about Brian McLaughlin being shunted aside though, that leaves a bitter taste especially after all he has done in the last 3 years.

So Tony McGahan will be leaving the Red Army at the end of the season....

Who will be his replacement then??? Is it too soon for Axle or will Munster go for a big name????

They should do all they can to get Conor O'Shea.

No idea yet it easily could be Axel but i hope it isnt as i think Axel is part of the problem in Munster considering he has been part of the coaching system since he retired and that has been over the whole decline we had as a team

Ideally mc gahans replacement will have no connections to munster at all and will bring in fresh ideas like joe schmidt has done to leinster

I'm sure O'Shea has just signed a new contract with Quins so i doubt he go this time.

I know Bradley was interviewed for the job last time around but didn't get it. With the job he's doing at Edinburgh he'd be worth a look. If Eddie O'Sullivan is even thought about those thinking it should be shot.....

Id prefer steady eddie to bradley but my ideal candidate would be someone who isnt australian or irish with no or very few connections to munster or ireland in any way

Decent weekend for all the provinces. All undefeated for the 1st time in a long time. Good wins for Ulster and Munster over the Welsh sides. Good to see Felix Jones back for Munster aswell. Leinster got a decent draw out in Glasgow. And of course we have a very good win against Edinburgh. Great result for the lads and we've had two decent results in the last two games. Maybe now we can attempt to climb up the table and overhaul the Dragons and Treviso.

Heard about it earlier today alright Breff but wasn't going to put the knockers on it until I saw something official.

Absolutely great signing for us and could maybe be the difference between us having another mediocre season or actually making a proper breakthrough. We haven't had a decent place kicker since Paul Warwick headed south a while back and with all due respect to Niall O'Connor and Miah Nikora, Dan Parks is a whole other level above them. That along with Nathan White coming in from Leinster is two really shrewd good signings we've made.

Just have to hope one of the holy trinity can go and win the H Cup again this season and maybe we'll be back amongst the elite next year with a much better hope of making a bigger impact than this year.

That's great news Ormond good to see Wally back.

See Leinster have made another shrewd signing in bringing in Brad Thorn as injury cover till the end of the season.
