January 22, 2019All roads lead to Corracrin National School on Saturday evening 26th for our annual presentation evening. Medal presentation for our successful juvenile teams will be made by some of the best footballers in the country. A great way of meeting these guys ahead of a big weekend, and most importantly commending all our juveniles on a great years work.
There will be a presentation night to the 2018 Championship winning team on Saturday 9th February in the Scarna Inn commencing at 8pm.
Juvenile registration takes place Tuesday 5th February, it is critical all juveniles are registered before training and playing.
Upcoming workshops are as follows: Skill Development Workshops on 29th January in Cremartin (Indoors) from 7:30 to 9pm, targeting underage coaches from U6 to U14. These workshops will be delivered by Ulster Council Coaching staff. Athletic Development workshop on the 2nd of February from 10am to 12pm for youth team coaches to be delivered by Barry McKenna (Monaghan Athletic Development Coach). This workshop will take place in Cloghan. Hurling Workshop - "The transition from Ground to Airborne Hurling" targeting U6 to U12 coaches. This workshop will take place on the 19th of February to be delivered by Ryan Gaffney, Ulster Council RDHO. Time and Venue TBC. "Coaching the Coaches Day" on Saturday 2nd March. More details to follow about this initiative.
Well done to all Emyvale players who made the St. Macartan's MacRory Cup team and took part in the recent playoff v Abbey CBS. Also well done to Cormac and Caolan Mc Kenna playing for St. Ciarans Ballygawley.
U7 & U9 indoor training resumes in Emyvale Leisure Centre on Saturday 7th Feb. Watch out on the corresponding Whatsapp group for times.
