The Late Michael Martin The club would like to extend their sympathy to the Martin family on the death of Michael (Mickey). Mickey played football with the club during the 70's and early 80's. He was a corner forward on the 1976 championship winning team, that defeated Bracknagh in the Junior Football Final. Although small in stature, his huge heart and lightening pace on the field of play made him stand out from the other players. His other favourite pastimes were microlites and hand-gliding. A builder by trade that built the local dressing rooms and other major buildings in the Tullamore area, all of which are a testimony of his workmanship. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
