The Late Gerry Lee The death took place of Gerry Lee, Knocknagogue, Clooney. A native of Tubber with whom he played hurling in every grade, Gerry was an avid sports person with a particular love of gaelic games. He played for Tubber in the county senior hurling final in 1981 and also when they contested the Clare Championship cup final. He served as treasurer and chairman of Clooney-Quin GAA in recent times. Gerry worked at Roche Ireland in Clarecastle where he was a popular member of their golf society. Members of the Clooney-Quin GAA club formed a guard of honour at the removal of remains from his residence to St. Mary's church and again at the removal for burial in Kildrum cemetery. He is survived by his wife Ita, son Trevor, daughters Caroline and Siobhan, his mother, bothers and sisters. 26th February 2006
