Michael Purcell RIP The death took place on Thursday, November 17 of Michael Purcell, Roscrea Road, Birr followed by an accident outside his residence. The late Michael Purcell resided in the Errill area in his younger years and was very involved in the local activities. He was a playing member of the Errill hurling club minor and senior. He was a member of the Errill Drama Group. Also a member of the St. Bernadette Hall committee and played a big part in the annual fetes. His body was reposing at Boyd's Funeral Home, Birr. His remains were removed from the Funeral Home to St. Bernadette's Church Birr on last Saturday evening. Burial took place the following day after Requiem Mass to Clonoghill cemetery.
