(Adrian is far too modest to tell us that he is a more than useful footballer - both soccer and Gaelic. He has travelled to the U.K. for trials in the 11-a-side game and would have been an automatic selection on the Offaly minor football team which went under to Derry in the 1989 final. That summer the Birr lad concentrated on the small ball game and lining out at midfield was one of the stars when the Faithful overcame the Clare challenge at Croke Park Big brother Gary, on board the winning Offaly Minor selection of '86 has also made his Senior Inter-County debut only to be hindered by a series of niggling injuries since.
