Minor hurling team named

The Offaly minor hurling team to face Laois in the round-robin series of the Leinster championship on Saturday, April 10 at Portlaoise has been announced.
With players of the calibre of Ciaran Slevin, James Keane, Cathal Parlon, Thomas Coughlan and Paul Cleary included, Offaly will be confident of making a winning start to their championship campaign.
Offaly's remaining games in the round-robin series will be against Dublin in Parnell Park on April 24 and Wexford in Birr on May 8. And even if they were to lose all three matches, they would still be involved in the Leinster quarter-finals.
