Anthony Foy who plays with St Brigid's Co. Offaly, suffered a serious rib injury in a car accident and a football match respectively. Haven been told he must stop playing football, Foy started extensive research into finding rib protection. He discovered EvoShield. Who Wears EvoShield.
The Irish National Lacrosse team signed a sponsorship deal with EvoShield for 2012. This is a significant deal for EvoShield in Ireland

2011 All Ireland winner Barry Cahill played the final with a broken toe. The Dublin star used the moulded protection to play through the All Ireland final.

I spoke to Shane about the influence of Evoshield on his playing performance and aswell the important part it plays in injury prevention and protection.

I find them great for supporting my wrists and for protecting them from any knocks. As a forward and as a free taker especially, I need my wrists to be free from pain and knocks and need to be able to concentrate solely on my accuracy and I find they are very good in that sense.
I think as it is an amateur game and players all have to go and make their living elsewhere that they then should be looking for more means of protecting themselves against injury. I know it's a physical game and players get hurt and don't get me wrong, I wouldn't change the game at all but a small thing like a wrist guard could make a big difference to a lot of people.
