Leinster MFC: Lillies have too much for Offaly

May 13, 2013
Kildare easily disposed of Offaly in this Leinster MFC quarter-final at Newbridge last Saturday.

Kildare 3-11
Offaly 0-5

Two goals from Tom Cribbin and Mark Sherry approaching half time gave the Lilywhites a 2-7 to 0-3 interval lead. The deficit could have been much worse for Offaly if it wasnt for some fine goalkeeping from Jason Dunne.

Despite playing against the wind in the second half, Kildare still maintained their dominance. Ryan Houlihan netted their third goal in the 48 minute leaving them 3-10 to 0-5 infront.

James Evans and Alan Geoghegan pointed frees for Offaly but it was Kildare who booked a place in the semi-finals against Dublin.
