Cribben not afraid of Saffrons

Tom Cribben sees no reason why Offaly can't inflict a first defeat of the campaign on Antrim.

The Faithfuls entertain the table-topping Saffrons in Tullamore on Sunday afternoon and the northerners will go in as favourites by virtue of their perfect record to date.

But Offaly boss Cribben is confident, especially with men like Niall Darby, Ken Casey and PJ Ward on the verge of returning:

"All along, we knew we had four home games and would have to win them as well as winning one away game. We have won our two home games and lost our two away matches.

"Antrim is a big challenge but they only beat Sligo by one point. They beat Roscommon by two points on Sunday and Roscommon's confidence is low.

"Our confidence is low as well because we have not had the rub of the green.

"We are progressing and if we have all the lads back it will make a huge difference to the team."
