Ballycumber GAA Club.

County Final on Saturday.

Best of luck to Ballycumber Senior B football players and management in the Tullamore Court Hotel Senior B Football Championship Final in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park on Saturday next at 2pm. The flags and signs are up around the Village and excitement is building in the lead up to the final. The opposition will be provided by a very good Bracknagh team. All support for the team would be much appreciated.

Sympathy.

We wish to express our deepest sympathy to Antoinette Cassidy, Coroe on the death of her father Josie Keenan, Ferbane.

Bridge House Hotel Minor B Football Competition.

Good luck to St Manchan Gaels in the final against Shamrocks in Durrow on Sunday next at 12 o’clock. All support welcome.

Under13 Football.

Bridge House Hotel Under13 Football Championship Semi Final.

St Manchan Gaels 2—14 Shamrocks 4—8 after extra time in Rahan on Sunday.

Ladies Football.

St Manchans staged a remarkable recovery to almost snatch victory from apparent defeat. Trailing 3—8 to 0—3 at half time after playing against the wind and in terrible weather conditions in Durrow on Saturday. St Manchans rallied after the change of ends and dominated the second half, adding 2—7 to their total while restricting their opponents to one point. At the end the fight back just fell short and Shamrocks were champions.

Lotto.

The numbers drawn this week were 6,10,12,29.  No jackpot winner, six match three winners. Ballycumber Dance Classses

Learn how to Jive, Waltz, Quickstep, Foxtrot and Line dance. Dance Classes every Monday night from 8pm in Ballycumber Community Centre.  Beginners class 8 - 9, Improvers from 9 - 10 and dancing for all from 10 - 11pm.  Great exercise and good fun, no partners required. History.

Ballycumber History Group are continuing to research the 80 men and women from the Ballycumber area who fought in World War 1. The group would appreciate any information on any of the men and women who answered the call and would love to meet family members.
