Rhode Senior Managerial Appointment 

Chairman John Kilmurray can confirm that the executive committee of Rhode GAA have tonight accepted the proposal  of  Ger Glavin as Rhode Senior Football Manager following a recommendation from the management selection committee.  

Offaly GAA Awards Night 

A wonderful time was had last Saturday night in the Bridge House as  Offaly GAA celebrated the best of the counties sporting stars of past and present. Our own Anton Sullivan Collected his 1st Senior footballer of the year having already collecting player of the year awards at Junior , U.21  and Minor grades, Daithi Hope Collected his 6th Handballer of the year award following another successful year for him and Fahy handball club, A Big cheer went up in the room from the large Rhode contingent when both men received their awards.

Very best of luck to Rhode Junior Footballer's and management as they take on Kilclonfert on Friday night coming the  25th at 8pm in St,Brigids GAA Grounds Croghan.

Offaly Senior Footballer's 

 

Very best of luck to Offaly Senior Footballers who take on Westmeath in the first round of the Division 3 national league  this Sunday January 27th at 2pm In Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park Tullamore.  On The Offaly Team/panel from Rhode  Anton Sullivan  , Niall Darby, Eoin Rigney and Ruairi McNamee. 

 

 

Rhode & Croghan Senior Citizens Party 

 

On Sunday evening last  Rhode  Joint 2018 Manager Declan Gorman,  Chairman John Kilmurray, Vice chairman Oliver Murphy Secretary Eoghan Hickey and P.R.O Robert Kellaghan attended the Senior citizens party with the Dowling and Casey Cups. It was a wonderful occasion with a massive crowd in attendance all enjoying themselves. Thanks to Peter Kilmurray and all the volunteers for their hospitality massive praise must go to them all for the great work they put in to organise and run such a great event.  

 

 

 

Rhode GAA  Club Registration Evening 

 

We are delighted to announce we are holding a club registration evening for all our Under-age Teams, Adult Teams, Ordinary Members , and anyone wishing to become a member of our club or for the  walking Track Membership on Friday the 8th of February from 7pm to 9pm in Rhode GAA Hall  We urge anyone wishing to pay their membership for 2019 to please attend. Further details will be available on our Social Media pages  and Website in the coming days. 

 

St. Patricks Day Parade 

 

 

We are currently planning our 3rd Annual St. Patrick's Parade which will take on St. Patrick's Day a meeting to organise it will take place next week time and date to be decided . Last year's parade was fantastic and this year's is promising to be an even better one  We are looking for businesses , clubs and organisations to submit a float for the parades asas we would love to make this year's event even more colourful and creative than last years please put your thinking caps on and get involved. Walking Track 

All Wishing to use the new walking track at our grounds have to be members of Rhode GAA Club .

 If you are not a member then your not insured.  

 Join now to use our wonderful new walking track  safe from the hustle and bustle of road traffic .  The Track is now fully lit up .

Lotto

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 14th of January for a Jackpot of €5,200.  The numbers drawn were 2 18 19 26.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Killeen’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €50 each.
