Senior league semi finals

(Oldest Posts First)

How come the senior league semi finals are not on this weekend? Would a wedding in ballybay have anything to do with it?

Went to Donaghmoyne v Inniskeen semi final yesterday as felt it might be a tasty affair - Inniskeen won by 4/5 points - 7 players sent off - 5 Donaghmoyne and 2 for Inniskeen along with inniskeen mentor also gated - However this was very low intensity game with a ref who was going to lay down the law from the start - the first few sendings off were very harmless - no need for half the booking or blowing - the game ended as a farce with donaghmoyne only having 10 players - Donaghmoyne rested a few players with an eye on ulster club

See killannys rest done them good and now they could go from junior to senior in 2 seasons - on yesterdays showing inniskeen very beatable but with the meegans up front you would fancy them -- However both Inniskken and Donaghmoyne will be straight back down as neither near good enough to survive - and worse it probably be carrick and doohamlet that will go up in their place

You're probably correct with your predictions for next year. Is there a need a change of the league structures. Same teams being promoted and relegated which isn't great for the competition. This year there also seemed to be an increase in the amount of teams playing weakened teams which I have no problem about but it results in the league turning into a pointless competition.

Yeah close enough match but Ballybay were generally in control.
Chris McGuinness was in very good form....scored about 2-6 I think.
Should be a good final.
