Dublin's John Small, Brian Fenton and Ciaran Kilkenny celebrate

Ciaran Kilkenny has been named in midfield alongside Brian Fenton as Dublin boss Dessie Farrell opts to shake up his team for tomorrow's Allianz League clash with Monaghan at Croke Park.

Kilkenny, who is more accustomed to a play-making role in the half-forward line, is positoned further outfield in a reshuffle which also sees Brian Howard revert to centre back.

There are three changes from the 1-11 to 0-8 defeat of Mayo in Castlebar last weekend and they all come in attack where Paul Mannion, Paddy Small and Paddy Andrews have been restored.

Dublin (Allianz FL Division 1 v Monaghan): Evan Comerford; Michael Fitzsimons, David Byrne, Eoin Murchan; James McCarthy, Brian Howard, John Small; Brian Fenton, Ciaran Kilkenny; Niall Scully, Paul Mannion, Kevin McManamon; Paddy Small, Paddy Andrews, Dean Rock.
