Well the soccer clubs have now progressed to "everyday clubs". Monday wasnt enough for some of them, in fact there is hardly enough hours in the week for many soccer players to swill the beer across channel. Well done Davitts and hope to see Micky Conroy in a Mayo shirt soon.

I do sincerely congratulate Davitts I only heard of the Monday club on the radio yesterday. In fact over the years some Davitts players have played soccer for Ballyglass.

St Bridgets, Kiltoom, can be very proud of the way they organised everything today. To top off the occasion, the Davitt's team gave a display that made a laugh of the fact that this was Intermediate grade football. The power, the scoring, the hits, skill, sportsmanship, everything was on display and most of it from the mayo champions. To say that Conroy is the kingpin of this team is only half the story, there are so many quality players on display with this team, both on the field and on the sidelines, it's unreal. Good luck to them i the All Ireland semi-final, they should fear no team and I doubt that they do. Great to see football played like this. James H, have a look.
