Treatment of Cairde Mhaigheo ticket holders

(Oldest Posts First)

I would like to bring it to the attention of people that anyone who held a CÁIRDE MHAIGHEO ticket were not treated fairly over the last 2 years.
The tickets we received for the 2013 All Ireland final were a total joke. Some people were actually seated behind the endline of the pitch.
Also What really angers me this year is that for the Semi final against kerry, tickets cost us 40 euro. if you had the croke park ticket you only paid 35. So who pocketed the 5 euro?
For the replay tickets were 30 euro. If you had the croke park season ticket it was 25. Who got the 5 euro?.
There were no benefits to the CÁIRDE MHAIGHEO ticket holder at all.
You would imagine that CÁIRDE MHAIGHEO would at least organize a bus to the games for the members as most football clubs would do for their memebers.

I agree. I did post a message to Mayo Gaa on their twitter page but got nothing back. I stated to them that i was not happy with cairde this year. every seat was way up the back, no discounts, no vouchers and don't even get me started on the seats in the gaelic grounds. pathetic. they seriously need to look at their benefits for next year or they could find themselves in serious trouble especially after the mayo management saga.

Dont buy the bloody things , buy the croke park tickets far better value , unless you go to every senior club championship game in the county the are a complete and utter rip of .

Unfortunately, unless your renewing the GAA Season ticket, you can't buy it as both Mayo and Dublin Season Tickets are sold out so the Cairde could be the next best thing even though it is a lot more expensive. I agree HurlerOnTheFenc, unless you go to every club game it is a waste of money.

I am a Cairde member and would jump to the GAA season ticket but we are trapped. Mayo fans have reached the quota along with Dublin.

Hi folks.
I want to get a Cairde Maigh Eo for the 2016 season.
I don't see any info on the Mayo.gaa about it.
I emailed Mayo GAA Secretary twice and got no reply.
Can anyone help what the procedures are to get one?
Thanks.

I wouldn't bother wasting my money on a ticket. Mayo will probably be relegated and ye will probably struggle to beat London in the first round of the championship. A team like Carlow, Antrim or somebody from a lower division will finish ye off then. Ye'll be crying and moaning then, but what's new.

That attempt at a wind up is as porous as the Sligo fullback line
