Will be a good final.....Think the Emmets by 2-3......They have greater experience in junior finals......Anyone know their stats in junior finals in the last 20 years? They must have been in about 4-5 finals and won them all

Well I can recall at least 2 finals in the last 5 years that they lost!! Fechins destroyed them in the final about 5 years ago and plunketts bet them by 5 points 2 years ago..Think they won one against dunleer about 4 years ago.I expect them to win this one comfortably enough.

They only won in 97 & 2012 I think
They also lost finals to Annaghminnon rovers in 2000 & St Mochtas in 2004.
They really should be better than junior with the pick they have, so if they go up should be consolidating

they are useless end of. they be relegated this time next year. I don't think they would even celebrate it as whats the point it justs shows how much of a failure they are.

while they are not useless, they would struggle at the inter grade.
Fechins were last team from junior to become really competitive at intermediate. Mochtas have never really threatened to win inter, although this year, they could, if they beat collon, which I dont think they will. Hunterstown maybe this year, cant see collon bet though.
Togher(2015), Plunketts(2014), Hunterstown(2013), (Emmets)2012?, Togher(2011), 2010Mochtas was it, none have won inter in following years.

contrary to what people in the county think, there is a massive gap between the top of junior and top intermediate and the top of senior.

The Young guns of St Kevins have no fear of Tullyallen and it could well be a great game ......... Grimes will be the difference as in the U21 Final. Emmets by 3.

Yes maybe not going close to winning it but that's a big ask going straight up like in fairness!! Out of all them teams you've named only Emmett's have been relegated straight back down the following year so it shows the winners of junior can survive in intermediate and are on a par with na piarsaigh, irelanders, mochtas, glyde etc...

Ah good man Santy, bit of bitterness towards The Emmets wonder what great club you follow yourself if The Emmets are such a failure. (Roche, Lannleire perhaps) or maybe its someone like Crossmaglen Rangers.
