Fav Club Jersey and Club Crest:

(Oldest Posts First)

My fav crest is the Tones. I love the Harp on it. Other crests that I like are the Jocks, Feckins, Clans and the Pats. Jersey wise I love the Rats and Feckins. Both jerseys are very similar. I also like the Naps, the Pats away jersey and I loved the Joes jersey from the 90's which was like the Offaly jersey.

As a kid I liked the Cooley jersey only because it was like the Kerry jersey...... and they were one of the top clubs in Louth at the time.....a mighty team no longer

I like the Clans Jersey. A green and orange version of Kilkenny. When the three O'Hanlon wore those jersies they were special

Odd old thread Ollie, in the middle of the championship. Like pats away jersey,

Like kilkerley and mochtas colours.

All modern jerseys are quite nice I think

My favourite crest is also the Tones followed by the Glen Emmets as it is very unique to their parish

And the winner of the 'But don't they all have lovely bottoms' award for 2016 is Frederick for that comment....... "all modern jerseys are quite nice"
Continue to be careful now Frederick, you wouldn't want to offend any of the other clubs.

Take a look at Google maps Ollie, The Co. boundary runs straight through the middle of the bridge. So the Bridge is Half in Louth half in Meath.

Jock I am just after zooming in. There is a plaque on the bridge that says property of Meath County Council and the bridge is dedicated to King William of Orange.

Does people wandering in the Wee County with their Tayto Jerseys count?

Sure it's all about one's own opinion.
There's no right or wrong answer.

For me though, both Marys and Roche's jerseys are poor. That's nothing against solid blue, its just the designs they both use. Not a lover of Dreadnots dated design either. A lot of the rest of the clubs are just normal, average looking jerseys, same as any set of clubs in another county.

In terms of being unique, you cant look past the Clanns jersey. While it wouldn't be my favourite colour combo of all time, I think they stand out from the crowd.
Dundalk Gaels in their QPR-like jersey is one of my favourites too.
The Joes in their Offaly-like jersey is another one I'm fond of.
DYI have a nice colour combination as well.
The Blues kit is one that you don't see with a lot of clubs that often either.

On a side note, the jerseys that most of the University teams have are probably the nicest out there. Mostly very different. GMIT, St. Marys, DIT, Carlow IT, Waterford IT, UL among others, all have really nice jerseys.

Yea agree with the universities they have nice jerseys apart from ucd.

Don't like dreadnots either your right it's dated, Cooley the same, o mahoneys do well with a Similar style to keep it fresh and I don't like glen emmets or mc dermotts colours.
I quite like a colour combo of a colour and with nice white trims apart from O Connells. Gers looked well the other night but have no sponsor and the first game was unique for colours. A lot depends on the sponsor logo as well.
