An excellent performance today - as good as we have seen in Drogheda for a while. Craven was excellent in full back line, Duffy very commanding and Durnin very strong in the middle. Full forward line were totally on top with Mulroy outstanding. Duffy and McEnaney made a big difference when they came in. So all in all very enjoyable afternoon. Five great goals and a team that look like they believe in each other. Certainly would have taken this leaving after the Longford game. Well done Wayne and the boys.

Great day for manager, players and supporters. Cannot ask for more. 1 word of caution though is conceding 15 pts which would normally be enough to get a result, but a good win all the same. Bevan Duffy was excellent today. Roll on Carlow.

LaLu agree with most of what you say. It was a great win but Sligo were very poor and still scored 16 points.
Great to see Jim Mac back and playing such an intelligent game. Some of his passes were of the highest quality. I would love to see him and Andy at midfield with Tommy sweeping. Roll on Saturday night in Carlow.

What a way to win to your first home match in nearly two years. That is Louths biggest league win since beating Carlow three years ago by 13 points. It is the first time in 12 league matches that Louth have not conceded a goal, the first time since 2010 that Louth have scored 5 goals in a league match since they scored 5 against Offaly down in Tullamore. They also finished the match with 15 men for the first time in the league this year. The table looks very good with the Wee County sitting on top with score difference.

Excellent performance. Exactly what happens with a bit of confidence, the right players picked and one's with a winning mentality.
