(Oldest Posts First)

Looking forward to the second part of a double header tomorrow after the DYI match with Louth taking on Wexford in the O'Byrne Cup in Darver.

Good luck to DYI and Louth. Hope the rain stops.

Surely at least one of the clubs in the County with lights and covered accommodation would facilitate supporters by making their grounds available for these winter matches. It was just horrible in Darver last night. Wind, rain, small crowd, poor atmosphere . Loyal supporters deserve better .
I don't think Wayne learned much either. Alan McAuley built on his good goalkeeping display in the Plunketts two week ago . The only other one to impress I thought was Anthony Williams. However it was not a night to make a judgement on anyone because of the conditions. Wexford supporters might not agree. They are probably looking forward to Roundk 1. of the Leinster.

Any risk to the Wicklow game in Bray from the weather. The forecast is not good.

Well done Wayne and the lads on their first victory to-day. 1-17 to 1-9. Good end to a poor year where London was the only bright spot fit the county.
Keep it rolling next Saturday in Longford. London might not be very bright for the country this year.

A win is a win after the horrible year wee had this year wee will take it. Fergal Sheekey has a great chance now to be our number one goalie. Well done to the Louth team. A win in Longford on Saturday will see us through to the semi-finals.

Pity we missed out so narrowly on having another game with Westmeath. The draw in Longford could have been a win as we had a few missed chances near the end, Decko sent in a high ball when it was 1-14 each and it only inches wide. Big Jim's sin binning for the final ten minutes was also crucial.
The second half display gives a lot of hope for the future . We won it 10-4.
The players to impress most were Alan McGaley who improves in every game and had a great save late on, solid Jim a raven,Anthony Williams who had a very good first half at centre half but has moved to left half at half time, Ciaran Downey, Decko Byrne and Conor Brannigan. I wonder why Ronan Holcroft was taken off a minute or so after scoring.
Wayne used 8 subs. I hadn't heard of this change. I hope this is only a temporary rule change as it would only make the Dublins of this world stronger.
