Very dissapointing when I heard this. Ok he made a mistake at the end of the game in Tullamore but he is young and will learn. He has great potential and it's Longford managements responsibility to give him all the encouragement needed!

A county like Longford needs ALL the good players available to us. The sub bench is more important than ever these days, its a squad game.
Thats exactly why Diarmuid Masterson needs to be brought back in as well ! & JJ Matthews.

I understand Paul Kelly was injured for saturday night which was why he wasn't brought on. Blood clot in his leg or something like that....

Good to see Frankie McGee starting but his man scored 2 goals , he needs to track back. David Barden when he came on did not seem very inerested and i hope thats not becuase he was dropped before the game.

Agreed. McGivney will have a big future with Longford if he wants it.

Was McGivney dropped or did he opt out? Disappointing as he has a big future in the blue and gold.

Let's be clear lads McGivney left the panel of his own accord citing loss of form as his reason. He was asked to think about it and encouraged to stay but decided against it. Good player for the future if he doesn't go to the US.
