who is the blame for the complete mess in the ACHL, Division 4 a walkover, same seems is going to happen in Division 5, the Division 2 final consists of a team that received 4 walkovers, what are the county board at, complete farce, asking teams to play league games after being knocked out of the championship is a joke, do they actually think patrickswell will focus on the league when they are preparing for the semi final of the munster championship, may be time for fresher ideas in the county board

Great timing. This is the time of year to get yourself nominated for a county board position. Looking forward to your contribution

The All county league is just a bad joke on Limerick GAA

I don't agree. Some teams have got a lot out of the county league. It is much better preparation for championship than the so called divisional championships where clubs refuse to play without their county players and postponements and walkovers mean teams get no benefit from them.

The leagues could be improved if they were finished before the end of championships as teams lose interest after that. Also it would probably work better to run a straight league with top team winning and cut out the final.

I completly agree with straight leagues sometimes in GAA its hard to tell the difference between league and cup. In both club and IC noody but the diehards will ever care about league and no amount of rejigging will fix that so just have a simple old fashioned league.

What would help though is a coherent online presence when it comes to results and news. Relying on the Limerick GAA website for any news outside the big tournaments is a nightmare

Not sure what the above post is meant to say. I presume you are having another dig at the county board. You would be better off asking questions of those closer to home. At least senior and intermediate clubs got plenty of decent games during the summer in the leagues. Any team that was hoping to use divisional championships for match practice would be very disappointed with the poor efforts of the boards to run these.

Done a good job with the football league finals, more to do with the clubs then the county board.

Participation in the championship in September should be conditional on honouring your fixtures in the league. We have the CPA threatening action if they don't have meaningful fixtures while their members don't play the ones they have.

Your on the money there, any team that gives a walkover in county league should be not allowed in championship. The league is a very serious competition in most other counties and is the breeding ground for younger players and gives other club players more games and let it be without the county players.
