In my first post I referred to the fact that Leitrim teams get jittery with 10 mins to go in a game if they are in front. Unfortunately last saturday evening was another example of this mental attitude ---- in this case it may have happened before half time? In fairness to the lads they have brought respectability back to leitrim football. I was also very impressed with the interview given by Barney Breen after the Wicklow game. He seems to be a man of common sense and himself and George will definitely be in charge next year. Without rising the ire of some of you I think the comments made in the last post of getting a few imports through the parentage rule is worth looking at. Williams briught a huge unification to our back line and if we could get a few more like him we might go a bit further. We are well in there with the chasing pack. Can we get out of Division 4 ?? It's nearly as high a standard as Division 3 looking at the Championship performances??
