I was just wondering with alot of teams recording their Clubs own games now what would happen if a ref missed a off the ball incident and never did anything about it during the game but the incident was caught on camera! And the Club in question send the disc to the county board would the use it to ban the player involed or could the use it at all? I'm just interested to know.

Its a well known fact that video evidence must be provided by a network that works with the GAA. As TV3 do not work with the GAA, evidence from TV3 can't be used. Unlike RTE.

i know in galway you have to get prior permission to video and part of the permission is that you hand an unedited copy over to county board.

Rule last year brought in that county committee needed to give permission of all games recorded an that this recording was the property of the county board executive so that should answer your question.
